Intermediate Nursing Care
Another important component of the continuum of care at Our Lady of Angles is the licensed intermediate nursing care. It is primarily available to the residents of Our Lady of Angels Senior Living Community, however can be provided to seniors who come to us directly from the wider community. Also licensed by the State of Illinois Department of Public Health, it provides 24 hour nursing care on both a temporary or longer term basis.
Intermediate nursing care is ordered by a physician and is supervised by licensed nursing staff.
Daily fees include the cost of care for:
Intermediate level nursing care services
Supportive and restorative nursing services
Assistance with the activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, walking, transferring, eating
Private or semi-private room
All meals and snacks, including therapeutic diets
Daily housekeeping
Linen and personal laundry service
Daily activities and programs
Daily Liturgy
Not included in the daily cost of care are:
Physician's fees
Medications
Personal supplies
Prescribed therapies
Daily cost of intermediate care fees may vary by the room and bath accommodation.
